Debra Russell

Debra Russell runs Windswept Hair Design & Salon, where she also works as master colorist. Her services center on cutting and styling, with highlights and corrective color as her main areas. She has 40 years in hair design and color, and she started Windswept after 31 years in the field.

Her salon experience spans three towns: 18 years at a salon in Greenwich, Connecticut, two years at a salon in West Palm Beach, Florida, and 14 years at Total Image Salon & Spa in Jupiter, Florida. She built a dedicated client base at Total Image and still wins over new clients.

She completed cosmetology training at the National Academy of Hairdressing in Stamford, Connecticut, in 1986. She has also trained at Goldwell International in Baltimore, Maryland, Toni & Guy in Dallas, Texas, Graham Webb International in Washington, DC, and Vidal Sassoon in Toronto, Canada. She was recognized in 2010 for an entry in a Goldwell master color contest.
