About
Debra Hare-Bey founded Oh My Heavenly Hair, where she is founder and hair wellness expert. She is a Licensed Master Braider and Fiber Artist and has also written articles for the OMhh journal covering hair wellness, texture, braids, locs and scalp care. Hare-Bey created NRAY LOCS, a soft-care yarn extension line rooted in hair wellness, and selects its yarns for softness, weight, texture, color and how well they wear. Her styling credits include creating the Maxine Shaw look worn by Erika Alexander on Living Single, and she has created Alexander's signature hair for more than 30 years. She also created that signature hair for NBC's The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins using NRAY LOCS. She leads Wellness Wednesdays classes, which blend science, self-care and expertise.
