Deborah Cecelia Henry-Wilfred

Deborah Cecelia Henry-Wilfred is the owner of Healthy Textures Hair Clinic LLC. She has been working in cosmetology since 1981 and holds a cosmetology license. Her credentials include certification as a trichologist from the International Association of Trichologists, along with Master Cosmetologist and Master Educator titles.

She trained at Robert Fiancé Hair Design Institute. Her later education includes study at Dudley's Cosmetology University, Arrojo Masters of Beauty, Goldwell Global Academy and Milady Cengage, plus a Teachers Certification from LIBS and numerous advanced trichology courses. She also holds an Associate Degree in Business Management and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Around ten years into her career she opened her first salon, Mirror Image Salon.

She spent three years as an educator and director at JWC Hightower School of Cosmetology in Brooklyn and currently teaches as an advanced educator at Empire Beauty School in Manhattan. Her focus is hair loss and scalp disorders, and she teaches cosmetologists in her Introduction to Trichology class.

She received the Educator of the Year title in 2008 and was named Regional Educator of the Month for Empire Education Group in 2011 and 2015. She was also the first recipient of the Madam C J Walker Award, presented on March 27, 2011, by Tywan Williams, CEO of HairManiaNYC.
