Debbie Ansay-Martinez

Debbie Ansay-Martinez holds Board Certified Trichologist credentials. She founded HairLab Chicago in Deerfield, which she co-built with Chanel Kwak, and has worked in hair for over 25 years, including ten years in clinical trichology. The practice lists her as an outside collaborator in trichology, not as a service it provides directly. She is also a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and a Certified Polarized Light Microscopy Technician, the latter credential issued through the Italian Academy of Hair Microscopy. Her microscopy work examines hair structure, quality and growth-cycle characteristics, and she takes a holistic approach to hair loss. Her trichology evaluation looks at nutritional contributors, the follicular environment, hygiene patterns and root causes that affect whether hair can grow well. For women whose hair loss has continued for years without a clear explanation, that evaluation often forms the basis of the plan. At HairLab Chicago in Deerfield, she examines the scalp under magnification and performs the Scalp Balance, Follicle Renewal and Advanced Follicle Regeneration treatments. Each plan follows a Hair Follicle Discovery evaluation and is adjusted as the scalp responds. She also works as a hair replacement expert.
