About
Dawnette Bowlin is the owner, creative director and master stylist at Alacrity Salon Spa in Dayton. She graduated from beauty school in 1991 and was assessed and certified as a National Educator for John Paul Mitchell Systems in 2004. She opened Alacrity Salon, a studio-style salon, in 2006. Before opening her own salon, she gathered business practices from leaders in the industry. Modern Salon featured her in 2010, and in 2014 she received the Professional Haircolor Educator Award. She leads the salon's creative direction and works as a master stylist, with a focus on color.
