Dawn Bliss

Dawn Bliss runs her own makeup business and has worked as a makeup artist since 1998. She began in fashion merchandising at Illinois State University, then held roles in the couture and designer sportswear departments at Neiman Marcus and Saks 5th Avenue before she switched to makeup artistry. From 2013 to 2015 she was one of two makeup artists working behind the scenes on ABC's Windy City Live. Other credits include makeup for models at Chicago Fashion Week and jobs that took her to St. Barths, Hawaii, Miami, Los Angeles, New York, Boston, Las Vegas and Mexico. Her work has appeared in Chicago Magazine, Michigan Avenue Magazine, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and Chicago Style Weddings. She offers bridal makeup, event makeup, photo shoot makeup, boudoir makeup and custom makeup lessons. Her experience includes mature skin and a wide range of skin tones. She is known for enhancing facial features, particularly the eyes. Her clients include brides, bridal parties and women of all ages.
