David Shih, MD

David Shih, MD, is the Medical Director at VITRA Aesthetics Clinic. He is also the physician practice owner of Main Street Medical NY PLLC and an operating partner at the clinic. From 2010 to 2018 he co-founded CityMD and served as its Chief Medical Officer. From 2018 to 2023 he held the same co-founder and Chief Medical Officer post at Rendr Care, a primary care and multispecialty practice in New York City, before joining VITRA. He graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical School and completed an emergency medicine residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is board-certified in emergency medicine and earlier worked as an attending physician in the emergency room at Huntington Hospital, part of Northwell Health. Since 2017 he has been part of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine. His aesthetic medicine training and certification were completed through the AAAM and the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine & Surgery (AAAMS).
