About
David Jones-Munoz owns and leads Salon Dumbo, which he founded. He has more than 25 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industries. Before opening the Brooklyn salon he owned two salons in San Francisco, and then moved to Manhattan.
His industry work includes time with Trevor Sorbie International, Conair and Matrix, where he served as an international team member, artistic director and product development liaison. He has partnered with the Wilhelmina and Karen's modeling agencies and has worked on hair for celebrities, models and designers, and for publications including Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Vogue and Harper's Bazaar.
He was featured in American Salon Magazine's '5: The New Breed' feature. He works with all hair types.
