About
Based in Beverly Hills, David Isaacs practices as an oculofacial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. His training began with an honors degree from UCLA, a general surgery internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, and an ophthalmology residency at New York Medical College, where he was chief resident. After that he completed an oculofacial plastic and orbital surgery fellowship at UCLA, followed by a second fellowship in facial cosmetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons, and his credentials are MD and FACS. At UCLA he is a clinical staff attending who teaches residents and fellows in the operating room and in cadaver dissection courses. Earlier he was recruited to Loma Linda University, where he held two assistant professor appointments: one as lead orbital and oculofacial plastic surgeon, and one in dermatology for Mohs reconstructive surgery. He also holds a staff position at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. From 2020 to 2024 he was Senior Scientific and Technological Advisor for TeraGroup. His practice covers revision and cosmetic work on the eyes, nose, face and neck, eyelid and facial procedures, orbital and skull-base tumors, orbital decompression, and surgical treatment of Graves' disease. He is known for precision in Asian eyelid and revision eyelid surgery, and he takes part in research on new treatment options. Facial work includes deep-plane facelifts with fat grafting, neck contouring, and filler-based reshaping of the cheekbones, jawline and temples. Neurotoxin treatment begins with a detailed look at facial anatomy and goals, then uses ultra-fine needles, with close attention to the eye, forehead and brow muscles. His patients include people with cancer, inflammatory diseases, vascular disorders, trauma and congenital conditions of the eyes and face, and surgical patients come to him from Europe, Asia, South America, Australia and the Middle East. He serves as an expert on the Medical Review Board of wikiHow and is a faculty member for orbital and oculofacial courses at the Annual American Academy of Ophthalmology Meeting and at UCLA.
