David Feldmar, MD

David Feldmar, MD, is the surgeon at Feldmar Aesthetics and is double board-certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery and in general surgery, through the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. He studied neuroscience, biology and physiology at UC Davis, then attended Chicago Medical School. His surgical residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center included a term as chief resident. He went on to a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Montefiore Medical Center, the university hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Throughout training he worked alongside plastic surgeons at several New York hospitals: Montefiore, Long Island Jewish, Beth Israel, Roosevelt, New York Eye and Ear Institute and Columbia University. His work spans complex reconstructive and revision operations as well as cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body. The cosmetic procedures the practice highlights most are face lifts, neck lifts, eyelid surgery, breast augmentation and breast revision, abdominoplasty, and mommy makeovers. He performs face lifts on men and women in the Los Angeles area, and breast augmentation for women. The practice describes him as calm and caring with patients, and as candid about possible outcomes. A consultation reviews the patient's goals, medical history including medications, and an examination, with photographs of the face and neckline. He then explains the recommended surgical approach and what to expect. He operates only on cases he judges reasonable and likely to give the best result. During residency he traveled to Bolivia with Rotoplast International to perform facial reconstruction for children with cleft lip and palate. He volunteers on medical missions and trains and mentors younger surgeons.
