David Barron

David Barron is the owner and a master stylist at Barron's London Salon. He trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London and spent four years at a London salon before branching out on his own. He is known for precision cutting and advanced color work and has more than 20 years of experience in the beauty industry.

His film work includes movie sets for Robin Hood and Hamlet, and location work on Fried Green Tomatoes brought him to Atlanta. He has styled hair for celebrities including Glenn Close, Mel Gibson, Kevin Costner, Christian Slater, Katie Couric, Elton John and Gwen Stefani.

He has made regular appearances on WXIA Channel 11's Peachtree Morning and Movie and a Makeover, and served as a columnist for The Piedmont Review for over 10 years. He was featured in The Independent Beauty Professional's Meet the Mentor feature in June 2025, released the Perception collection shot in 2022, and had his MAGMA look named Estetica's Look of the Week in October 2021.

He was named Best of the Best International Irish Hair Dresser and was a finalist for Hairstylist of the Year from the North American Hairstyling Awards. He was nominated twice for International Stylist of the Year at the Canadian Mirror Awards and was named a Top 40 Colorist by Be! Beautymaker Magazine in 2012. He was named Hair Colorist of the Year at the Hair Awards USA 2021, was a 2025 NAHA finalist for Master Stylist and Hairstylist of the Year, won the 2026 NAHA Master Hairstylist of the Year award, and won the Haircutting category at the 2025 ABS Global Image Awards.
