Dason Van Oppen

Dason Van Oppen works as a stylist at Anagen Atelier. Work began in a luxury salon space, followed by a front desk job at an Aveda location in West County. Training came through an apprenticeship rather than cosmetology school, with education shaped by Aveda, Redken, Pivot Point, Matrix and Toni & Guy. Color is the main focus, particularly formulas for reds and coppers, blondes and dimensional brunettes. Textured and curly hair and short, tailored cuts also feature often. Experience includes editorial and television sets, backstage at runway shows, and community events such as the inaugural Children's Hospital Prom. The rate is $150 per hour.
