Danielle Valdez

Danielle Valdez is the color specialist and co-owner of Danielle & Jose Hair. She began doing hair in Florida before moving to New York City at 19, where she took an assistant position at a Madison Avenue salon. She then spent about twenty years as a color specialist on Madison and Fifth Avenues, working at Eiji, Louis Licari and Hiro Haraguchi, and along the way taught assistants and junior stylists.

She has traveled to Westport, CT since the early 2000s, and after moving to New Jersey in 2007 she continued commuting into Manhattan and Westport. Her work includes hair and custom hair pieces for New York Fashion Week and styling for the designers Zang Toi and Thierry Mugler. She has worked with actors, socialites, CEOs and CFOs.

She is licensed in four states and takes appointments in Cedar Knolls, Westport and New York City.
