Danielle Austin

Danielle Austin is a partner at Studio 28 Wellesley, where she serves as lead makeup artist and also works as a master educator and professional trainer. She became a partner in 2021, has more than 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, and built the studio's beauty team to cover events of many sizes and locations.

Her work covers makeup for all kinds of events, including special occasions, large groups, photoshoots, commercials, television and film, as well as men's grooming and light hair services. She has been involved with more than 200 weddings and many other events. Her career credits include work with Estee Lauder, Trish McEvoy, Laura Mercier, SEINT and It Cosmetics, and film work credited in the Boston and New York areas.

Teaching is part of her role. She provides lessons and training for individual clients, groups, corporate clients, salons and spas, and aspiring makeup artists, and she offers a personal cosmetic shopping concierge service. She has worked on ABC's Extreme Makeover, TLC's A Makeover Story, FOX News, ESPN and local news channels. She has also received the Boston Herald Beauty Award, the Modern Luxury Luxe list, a Best Home Makeup vote for the city, and a five-star rating on The Knot.
