Daniel Yamini

Daniel Yamini practices as a surgeon at Sunset Cosmetic Surgery, where most of his procedures take place and where he mainly treats patients from West Hollywood. He holds MD and FACS credentials and works on facial and body cosmetic procedures. He is known for revising earlier breast operations and achieving a more natural appearance.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Stanford University, then a Doctor of Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. From 1994 to 2000 he completed a general surgery residency at UCLA Harbor General Hospital in Torrance, California, and from 2000 to 2002 a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Providence Hospital and the Institute for Craniofacial and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery in Detroit. Training under Dr. Ian Thomas Jackson at the Craniofacial Institute covered breast, open-heart, thoracic, vascular and oncology surgery. In 2002 he finished an advanced cosmetic surgery fellowship covering facial, breast and body procedures.

He is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is licensed by the California Board of Medicine. He serves on the advisory board of the Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and belongs to ASAPS, ASPS, CSPS and LASPS. Allergan has invited him to lecture as an educator for Botox and Juvéderm in Los Angeles. He has presented at ASAPS annual meetings, taught alongside Dr. Svehlak and Dr. Richard Ellenbogen in 2003 and 2004, published journal articles and a textbook chapter, and been quoted in the Los Angeles Times, Elle and The Aesthetic Surgery Journal.

He received a 2015 RealSelf Top Doctor designation, a 2014 Vitals Top 10 Doctor award, a 2011 Los Angeles Top Doctors and Dentists award, and was named Top Breast Surgeon in America for 2024 by American's Top Breast Surgeons. He monitors recovery closely and is available virtually around the clock.
