About
Daniel Curet is a hair stylist working in film, television and editorial. He is a member of IATSE Local 706 and has served as hair department head on many productions, with credits that include Fargo and The Big Lebowski, where his career began, as well as Pushing Daisies, American Gods, Sleepy Hollow, Salem and The O.C.
His specialties include character-driven hairstyling, extensive corrective color and wig work. He has worked with actors including Carey Mulligan, Jodie Foster, Annette Bening, Jennifer Aniston and Harrison Ford. He has received nominations for Promising Young Woman from the Critics Choice Awards, Hollywood Critics Association Awards, MUAHS Guild Awards and Latino Entertainment Film Awards, and two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single Camera Series for Pushing Daisies in 2008 and 2009.
Beyond set work, he teaches and pursues entrepreneurial projects. Clients can expect him to work closely with actors on how their characters look on screen.
