Dani Colman

Dani Colman runs Hairy Odd Mother Studio in Puyallup, where gray blending and gray coverage are the core specialties. She has been self-employed since age 21 and first started in hair in 2013. She has more than a decade behind the chair. Her training is weighted toward precision cutting and low maintenance color. She studied advanced cutting in Boston, has advanced training in the French hair cutting method, and went to the Netherlands to learn modern low maintenance color techniques. She also observed a celebrity stylist to learn French approaches to cutting, balayage, foiling and styling, has taken color classes across the United States, and attends several industry courses each year. She welcomes creative, career-driven women over 40 who value consistency, quality and a calm one-on-one experience. She also offers hand-tied extensions for subtle fullness and thickness, holds certifications in several hand-tied extension methods, and has training in thinning hair extension techniques.
