Danette

Danette is the owner, hair stylist and hair replacement specialist at Hair Designs by Danette in Lake Zurich. She was a co-owner of Shear Pleasure Ltd. from its opening in 1980, has worked as a professional stylist for over thirty years, and has traveled throughout North America for work. After 45 years at Shear Pleasure, she opened her own studio suite.

Danette trained under Wayne Grund, Pivot Point and Sam Villa. After more than thirty years as a stylist, she became a specialist in hair replacement and cranial prostheses. Her focus is top-quality hair additions and wigs, and she also works in haircut design, coloring techniques, highlights, perming and keratin smoothing treatments. She serves women and children with hair loss and holds certifications in Private Issue by Cyberhair, Follea and International Hair Goods.
