Dana Davis

Dana Davis is a stylist and colorist with over 20 years in the field. Work in cosmetology began in 1988, and training at Scanners International Beauty Academy, completed with honors, was under way by 1992. After building a clientele on the Washington, DC salon circuit, she opened Heavenly Salon, a full-service salon and spa, in 2005. In recent years she has moved away from running a salon and toward styling and education. She is named among the DC Metropolitan Area's leading stylists and colorists. Her work includes trichology, with a focus on scalp care for healthier hair, and on healthy, long-lasting hair for everyday women. Professional roles include natural hair care specialist for DRAF (Derrick Rutledge About Face) and lead stylist for the Women in Television Banquet. Her work also includes Bravo's series Newlyweds. Accomplishments include a 2003 G.S.A. Colorist of the Year title from the Golden Scissors Awards, NAACP Awards, and features in New York Fashion Week and magazines.
