Cynthia Elliott, MD

Cynthia Elliott, MD, is the owner and attending physician at Skinspirations in Clearwater, which she founded in 2005 as a practice focused solely on aesthetic and regenerative medicine. She has worked in the Tampa Bay area since 1990. Before moving into aesthetics, she spent fifteen years in the emergency departments of local trauma centers and held an Associate Professor post at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Her training includes a medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, an emergency medicine residency at Denver Health, and postgraduate neuroscience studies at Indiana University. She holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and psychology from the University of Illinois. She is board-certified in emergency medicine and is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Before opening her own practice, she spent two more years training with a cosmetic dermatologist. Her clinical work centers on biostimulants, fat-derived regenerative treatments using adipose-derived stem cells (a method she has used since 2014), ablative laser scar resurfacing, and facial contouring with threads, PRF and fillers. She was one of the early providers to offer Sculptra, in 2005. She has instructed for Cutera Lasers since 2007 and has trained physicians for Suneva Medical, maker of Bellafill, since 2008. Beyond the clinic, Dr. Elliott speaks and trains cosmetic physicians across the USA and the Caribbean, and has trained more than 250 clinicians in aesthetic procedures. She owns ExpertEsthetics, the clinician training company, and has developed a patent-pending biocellulose matrix powder that holds regenerative biostimulant liquids in place for weeks. She also takes on expert witness work for the Florida Board of Medicine and brings more than two decades of aesthetic medicine experience to her work.
