Cristien Marcotte

Cristien Marcotte founded SKINCRVFT and serves as its facialist. Holding licenses as both an esthetician and a massage therapist, Marcotte has worked in these fields for more than ten years.

Training began in 2015 with the Esthetics Program at Estelle Skin Care Institute. Further study at Thrive Skin Institute covered dermaplaning and microneedling, and microcurrent was taught by 7E Wellness. Other programs include acne specialist work through Face Reality, sculptural face lifting and buccal massage under Yakov Gershkovich, clinical massage therapy at The Soma Institute, and DMK Program One: Skin Revision. More recent courses cover reconstructive facial and buccal massage from Via Skincare, manual lymph drainage taught by Zen Shiatsu and Madge Lockwood, Gua Sha Facial Fusion with Cecily Braden, LevitaLift face massage, and the Signature Facelift Ritual with Joni Hodson Ilias. Marcotte is also working toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

Treatments connect skin condition with fascia, lymphatic circulation and the nervous system, using myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, breathwork and deliberate touch. Each session is tailored to the state of the client's skin on that day. Clients carrying tension in the jaw or shoulders, or moving through a taxing season of life, are a particular focus.
