About

Cristal Dawn Speller serves as Medical Director at Glendale Whole Health and holds an MD and an MPH. She graduated from Stanford University School of Medicine in 1994, then received a Master in Public Health from the UC Berkeley School of Public Health in 1995. Her pediatrics residency was completed at Children's Hospital Oakland in 1998, and she became board certified in pediatrics in 1999. After five years of pediatric work in private practice and urgent care, she moved into alternative medicine. She has also owned and run several practices with locations across California.

In her approach, she combines conventional medicine with complementary and alternative methods to treat the whole person. She stays current with her training so that patients get up-to-date care. Her credentials include a diplomate designation from the American Board of Integrative and Holistic Medicine (2008), a fellowship at the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine (2013), and board certification from the American Board of Integrative Medicine (2024).

Other training includes a practitioner certification with BioTE Medical and a certified provider designation with the Institute of Functional Medicine, both in 2019, along with clinical homeopathy training that same year. Through the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine she completed IV and chelation therapy training, a fellowship in anti-aging, regenerative and functional medicine, and peptide therapy certification, all in 2020. In 2022 she earned a certification in ozone therapy and beginning Prolozone therapy from Ozone Therapy Inc. She also holds a Level 1 Health Professional credential from Maharishi Ayur-Veda (2011). She is currently working through training in aesthetics and stem cell therapy, as well as further IV and chelation therapy.
