About
Craig Baldenhofer, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon and the Medical Director of Bel Angé Medical Spa in Tribeca. His practice covers aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, body and face, and he is best known for breast surgery, body contouring and procedures for changes after pregnancy. He offers Motiva Preservé breast augmentation under twilight anesthesia for appropriate candidates.
He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Surgical training started with general surgery in New York City at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He then completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Oregon Health & Science University and a microvascular breast and aesthetic surgery fellowship at Mercy Medical Center. During training he worked beside surgeons on cosmetic and reconstructive cases.
Through Healing the Children he has volunteered on reconstructive cleft lip and palate operations in developing countries. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society. His focus includes women dealing with physical changes after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss and aging.
