Craig Baldenhofer, MD

Craig Baldenhofer, MD, practices as a board-certified plastic surgeon in New York and serves as Medical Director of Bel Ange Medical Spa in Tribeca. Surgery spans the breast, body and face, with the most attention on breast procedures, body contouring and body changes following pregnancy. He directs much of his attention to women experiencing physical changes after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss and aging.

Training started with an MD from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He next did general surgery training at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, then moved into a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, and a microvascular breast and aesthetic surgery fellowship at Mercy Medical Center.

Each treatment plan begins with a thorough assessment of anatomy, lifestyle, concerns and long-term goals. Before proceeding, he goes over a procedure's limits, risks, recovery and alternatives. He takes up new technologies when they can sharpen precision, protect anatomy, add comfort, shorten downtime or produce a more natural outcome. He has also donated time to Healing the Children, carrying out reconstructive cleft lip and palate surgeries in developing countries. Memberships include the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society. He was named a 2026 Castle Connolly Top Doctor and Manhattan Magazine's 2026 Best Breast Lift, and NewBeauty, Super Doctors and Patients' Choice recognized him before that.
