About
Courtney Rotz founded Aurela Aesthetics and works as a nurse practitioner with dual board certification, holding the FNP-BC and AGACNP-BC credentials. She has 23 years of nursing experience. Her early practice was in the pediatric intensive care unit at Johns Hopkins. She later practiced as a cardiology nurse practitioner across interventional and outpatient care, where she performed vein procedures including laser treatments and sclerotherapy, as well as other minimally invasive methods. At Aurela, she carries out every treatment personally, visiting clients at home, in an office or at a hotel. She applies each VI Peel herself, supplies the skincare kit used after a peel with aftercare guidance, and checks allergies and health history before a Korean Facial because it contains PDRN. She monitors progress over a Cryo Bodyslimming series. Her menu includes neurotoxins, chemical peels, microneedling and individualized treatment plans. She will tell a client when a treatment is unlikely to suit them.
