Courtney Johnson

Courtney Johnson started REFRESH Laser Spa and works there as a provider. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, a credential issued by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner Certification Board. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University in 2013, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from South University in 2017. Earlier in her career, she spent time in medical surgical, dialysis, progressive care and intensive care units at hospitals across the United States.

In 2017 she joined a medical dermatology and cosmetic practice, where her duties have included supporting Mohs procedures, carrying out biopsy and excision procedures for skin cancer, and evaluating and treating skin conditions. Her aesthetic services include microneedling with platelet rich plasma, injectables and medical-grade chemical peels. Her focus is dermatology and cosmetics, and her goal is cultivating ongoing rapport with each patient.

She also speaks as a keynote presenter and champions diversity within dermatology. She has served more than 4,000 people across nearly all fifty states.
