About
Corinna Kavanagh founded Body Celebration and developed the Conscious Beauty Method, a practice built around supporting skin as it ages and cutting back on products that irritate it. Based in San Rafael, she works as a holistic esthetician and has been a licensed esthetician since 2005. She began hands-on healing work in 1991 as a certified massage therapist. She also holds a health coach certification, earned in 2017, along with Reiki Master and Certified Dynamic Walking Coach credentials. She has taught at the Alive & Well! Institute of Conscious Bodywork and previously worked as a doula. At The Skin Games, a peer-reviewed competition, she created the Holistic Esthetics category, and she received that category's award in 2017. Her focus is sensitive, aging and adult acne skin, and she welcomes clients whose skin feels reactive, is changing, or no longer feels like their own.
