Corey Harkins, MD

Corey Harkins, MD, is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Plastic Surgery Center of the South in Marietta, where he has practiced since 2014. He is board-certified, is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is licensed in Georgia. He also serves as Section Chair of Plastic Surgery at WellStar Kennestone Hospital.

He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame and received his MD from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, then pursued further training in reconstructive surgery, microsurgery and maxillofacial surgery. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and he has contributed academic research, including work on breast reconstruction after mastectomy.

He works in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on post-pregnancy and body contouring procedures such as mommy makeovers, breast augmentation, liposuction, tummy tucks and Brazilian butt lifts. His experience in breast surgery is extensive.
