Coretha Steele

Coretha Steele is the owner of Luminaire Beauty Lounge, Inc. and focuses on braiding and extension services. She has expertise in both and brings experience in business management, sales and customer service to the studio.

She is the founder of the Luminaire Braid Academy. She founded the kids braid camp to help young people build confidence, creativity, entrepreneurship and foundational braiding skills, and she co-founded the Steele Foundation, which supports at-risk youth, foster children, former foster youth and disadvantaged individuals.

She created Braids For Grades, which offers free braids to students with outstanding grades. She also works as a community advocate and has supported non-profit and individual organizations with community outreach.
