About
Claudia owns AVA Studio in El Cajon, which she opened in 2014 after returning to the San Diego area. She holds a California cosmetology license and works as the salon's stylist.
Her work abroad came first. In 2007 she moved to Yokohama, Japan, where she set up her own business and learned advanced techniques across Asia. In 2010 she returned to Monterey, California, and expanded her color and hair design work at Oya hair salon.
She trained at the Gene Juarez Advanced Color Academy in Seattle, and in 2012 at Arrojo in New York City. She continues her education and values ongoing training in color and hair design.
Her work centers on color and hair design. She builds lasting relationships with clients and aims to find each one the right hairstyle.
