Claudia de Sousa

Claudia is the founder of Ipanema Beauty Bar and works as its trichologist and extension specialist. Before opening the studio in Sausalito, she served clients in Brazil and the United States.

She is a certified trichologist and has completed training in trichology. Her focus is hair extensions and hair and scalp health. She developed The Ipanema Method, the extension approach used at the studio.

Claudia does not diagnose medical conditions. Instead, she assesses the hair and recommends services based on what the assessment shows. Clients can expect a follow-up after their first visit to check how their hair is doing and adjust the plan.
