Christy K owns Christy K Brows & Wax Lounge, where she works as an eyebrow artist, and she is a licensed esthetician. She has 26 years of experience in skincare and eyebrow work, starting in Bergen County in 2006. Her jobs have included salons, spas, medical spas, a Blue Mercury apothecary and spa, and a skincare center where she worked alongside doctors and plastic surgeons. After a salon and then a medical spa, she opened her own business in 2016. She trained with Kelley Baker, a celebrity eyebrow artist in California, and takes continuing education courses on a regular basis. Her specialties are eyebrow shaping, brow creation, and brow waxing with precision tweezing. In 2024 she launched an online course business teaching eyebrow shaping to aspiring stylists. Some clients have been visiting her for 18 to 19 years. She won the Best in Bergen eyebrow shaping award in 2017, 2018 and 2019, and 201 Magazine's Best of Bergen issues for 2019 and 2023 listed her as a runner-up for waxing. She also holds 5-star ratings on Yelp, Google and Vagaro.com.
