Christopher Kruse

Christopher Kruse founded Navesink Dermatology in Red Bank, part of The Medical Group of NJ network, and heads its physician team. At the practice he is head surgeon for Mohs, treating skin cancer on both the face and the body. He is board-certified in dermatology and in Mohs surgery, holds M.D., FAAD and FACMS credentials, and is a Fellow of the American College of Mohs Micrographic Surgery and the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He has practiced dermatology for over 25 years. His training started at NYU School of Medicine, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. An internal medicine internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital came next, then a dermatology residency at the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn, where he was chief resident in his final year. A post-doctoral fellowship in Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery, approved by the American College of Mohs Surgery, followed. Before Mohs training he practiced general dermatology in New York and New Jersey for three years, and he also taught dermatologic surgery for many years at the VA New York Harbor Healthcare System in Brooklyn. Patients have called him thorough and compassionate.
