Christopher J. Davidson, MD, FACS

Christopher J. Davidson, MD, FACS is a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing in Wellesley. He went to Phillips Exeter Academy, then Harvard College, where he graduated magna cum laude with highest honors in biology, and went on to Harvard Medical School. His general surgery training was at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and he completed plastic surgery training through the Harvard Integrated Plastic Surgery Program, with training at Brigham and Women's, Massachusetts General Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Children's Hospital Boston. He served as chief resident at Massachusetts General Hospital and at Brigham and Women's, and he is a former assistant professor of surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine.

He entered private practice in 2006 and has performed more than 10,000 surgical cases since then. He does breast enhancement, facial plastic surgery, body contouring and mommy makeovers, and has a particular interest in facelifts, neck lifts, breast augmentation and tummy tucks. He also takes on complex and revision cases, and other physicians, including local plastic surgeons, refer patients to him for facial surgery. He holds hospital privileges at Newton Wellesley Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess-Needham and Milford Regional Medical Center. He performs the majority of outpatient procedures at the Wellesley surgery center and works with each nonsurgical patient to set a treatment protocol.

He has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor every year since 2008 and a Boston Magazine Top Doctor every year since 2017. He was also named among America's Best Plastic Surgeons for 2026 by Newsweek, in eyelid surgery, facelifts, liposuction and tummy tucks, and was listed in Boston Common Magazine's Power List and named one of the most influential people in Boston.
