About
Christopher Hankins, MD, leads Premier Plastic Surgery as Medical Director and plastic surgeon, and he founded the practice. His work centers on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, and he sees patients from Houston, Pearland, Lake Jackson and nearby South Houston communities. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, then completed the general surgery training required before plastic surgery, along with training in anatomic and clinical pathology. He went on to five plastic surgery fellowships in the United States and United Kingdom, including one in plastic and microsurgery at Baylor College of Medicine and another in hand surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His advanced training covers hand surgery, breast reconstruction after cancer and other reconstructive procedures. From 2011 to 2014 he served as Medical Director of the Wound Care Center at Lake Jackson Hospital, and he continues to treat wound care patients at Premier. He has written 19 peer-reviewed papers, sits on the editorial boards of four medical journals and reviews for three more, and speaks on plastic surgery at regional, national and international meetings. He has taken part in plastic surgery medical missions in Peru, Bolivia and Pakistan. His focus includes facelifts, eyelid surgery and brow lifts, body contouring and sculpting for men and women, and hair restoration using PRP and stem cell options. He performs all injectable treatments at the practice himself.
