Christine

Christine is the master stylist and owner of The Balayage Bar in Andover. She started her career in Los Angeles and worked in New York City early on. She later managed and helped open Drybar when it first came to Boston. After years of pursuing work in Los Angeles and Hollywood, she moved back to New England, and she still styles hair in Los Angeles when she is there. Her training began at the Paul Mitchell school and includes color education from the Schwarzkopf, Paul Mitchell and Redken lines, plus Wella color training. After Paul Mitchell she trained with top cutting specialists in Los Angeles, and she directly assisted a stylist whose cuts are offered in New York City, Hawaii, Tokyo and Los Angeles. She specializes in balayage and precision haircuts, with a strong focus on photo shoot and bridal hair. Her work includes styling and organizing runway shows, photo shoots, weddings and high-end events. She has styled celebrity clients in Southern California, including actress Erika Othen and reality TV stars from The Real World, and she styles Boston Red Sox and Celtics wives as well as women across Boston and New England. She was a finalist for Hairstylist of the Year in Hollywood in 2013. She has been featured in People, The Knot, Style Me Pretty and several other magazines. She enjoys building her clients' self-confidence along with their hair.
