About
Christina Morris is the co-owner and founder of Element Natural Healing Arts, which she started in 2001. She earned a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2000 from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. Her undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
She is a licensed acupuncturist in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, including in acupuncture and herbology, and she is board certified by the NCCAOM. She is also a certified herbalist, a certified reflexologist with maternity reflexology certifications, an Arvigo practitioner of Maya Abdominal Therapy, certified in microneedling and in craniosacral therapy from the Upledger Institute, and trained in Thai bodywork in Thailand and New York City. In 2022 she received a Medical Cannabis Care diploma from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, and she is currently a student at the Institute for Functional Medicine.
She specializes in women's health and infertility and also treats musculoskeletal issues, pain, migraines, anxiety, gastrointestinal concerns and immune system imbalances. Her internships included clinical work in acupuncture, Chinese herbology and tui na at China-Japan Friendship Hospital in Beijing and Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has studied with Giovanni Maciocia, Kiiko Matsumoto, Richard Tan and Arya Nielsen, and has studied acupuncture for cancer patients through Memorial Sloan Kettering and cosmetic acupuncture with Mary Elizabeth Wakefield. She has published many articles on acupuncture, herbs and wellness.
