About
Christa Clark, a board-certified plastic surgeon, founded Granite Bay Cosmetic Surgery. She started medical practice in 2006 and brings more than 25 years of medical experience, including close to two decades in private practice. She earned bachelor's degrees in economics and English literature at the University of Michigan and studied medicine at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, graduating with high distinction and ranking in the top 10 of her class. Her six-year integrated residency at Stanford University Medical Center covered general surgery and plastic surgery. She is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, holds Fellow status with the American College of Surgeons, and belongs to The Aesthetic Society, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. All of her procedures take place at her private surgery center in Granite Bay, which is AAAASF-accredited. Her practice centers on breast and body work: breast augmentation, breast lifts and revision surgery, tummy tucks, liposuction, mommy makeovers, and body lifts with skin tightening after weight loss. She also performs facial aesthetic procedures, both surgical and nonsurgical. She has helped thousands of men and women achieve natural-looking results. She has been named a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in plastic surgery every year since 2015, was a Sacramento Magazine Top Doctor in 2021 and 2022, was inducted into the Style Magazine Readers' Choice Hall of Fame as a Favorite Plastic Surgeon, and was featured in 2017 among Sacramento Women Making History by Girls on the Grid.
