Chris Towery

Chris Towery is a nurse practitioner and skin care specialist at FACES Dermatology, working in general and cosmetic dermatology. For the past 12 years, Chris has treated patients with Botox, chemical peels, collagen, laser skin surgery and leg vein treatments. Chris also has specialty training in skin surgery techniques including flaps, skin grafts and Mohs micrographic surgery.

Chris worked for seven years as a trauma nurse at the LAC/USC Trauma Center. He holds an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at the USC School of Medicine, where Chris taught dermatology, surgery and emergency medicine and took part in research with the Department of Family Medicine. He also serves as Clinical Curriculum Director for the USC Physician Assistant Program and completed a three-year tour as a commissioned officer in the Public Health Service Corps under the Surgeon General.

Chris assesses each patient's skin and facial features to plan treatment, and treats skin disorders, including skin cancers, with discretion and compassion.
