Cherry Fields

Cherry Fields is the owner and master stylist of the business, and she started doing hair professionally in 1985. She trained at Fort Worth Beauty College in 1990 and earned a cosmetology license from the school. She is a short hair specialist with short hair clients.

In 2004 she opened Salon Cutt-It-Up, and in 2011 she relaunched her career by creating her own website. She also created Diva House Calls, the mobile service that brings styling to clients' homes or other locations. She currently operates the iKandy Hair Lounge in Arlington.

Outside the salon, she consults and mentors stylists nationwide on launching careers, rebuilding brands, best practices and social media planning. Each year she attends classes, seminars and trade shows to keep up with styling trends and techniques. Her editorial and press work includes Hair Stare Magazine, the Dallas Morning News, the Star-Telegram and the Dallas Observer.
