Chavie Russell

Chavie Russell is the founder and stylist of Chavie Russell Wigs in Chicago. She has worked in the wig industry since early childhood, helping with customer orders at her mother's wig shop, and she returned there after completing a hairstyling course in Toronto.

Her work centers on custom wigs with natural colors and hairlines. She specializes in coloring wigs, including experimental coloring techniques. She works with alopecia and cancer patients and helps clients choose a wig that suits their personal style.

Consultations cover texture, quality, length, color and head measurement, along with lifestyle, daily activities, face shape, skin tone and hair type. Clients are encouraged to wear a wig in everyday life before it is finalized. She also holds virtual appointments with first-time buyers and out-of-state clients.
