His training includes serving as a chief resident in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Rhode Island Hospital and studying at Brown University. He also completed a Korean fellowship with clinical training at Jelim Clinic and BK Clinic in Seoul, and he trained under Robert Flowers, MD, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
