Charles H. Davis

Charles H. Davis, DDS, has practiced at Davis & Beyer Dental Health Professionals in Venice since 1988. He first earned a chemistry degree at the University of Richmond, then a Doctor of Dental Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia, where he also did graduate work in anatomy and research on local anesthetics at MCV Hospital. He completed a general practice residency at Shands Hospital, University of Florida, and advanced anesthesia training at Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein Medical College in New York City. He graduated from the Misch Dental Implant Institute at the University of Pittsburgh and is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is licensed to administer conscious sedation. According to the practice, he is trained to provide Prettau Fixed Dentures, which it says few dentists are trained to offer. His work covers cosmetic and restorative dentistry, including fillings, bonding, crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, dentures, root canals, extractions, orthodontics, whitening and anesthesia options, along with preventive care such as periodontal treatment, sealants and oral cancer prevention. He has completed continuing education across all areas of general dentistry. He belongs to the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the West Coast Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Sarasota County Dental Association.
