Charis Wipfler, APRN-FNP

Charis Wipfler owns and leads the injecting at Grace Medical Aesthetics, which she founded in April 2012 as a concierge home-visit medical aesthetics service. She works across the practice's Southbury, Westport, Southington, Bedford Hills and New York City offices. Before moving into aesthetic medicine full time, she worked for many years as an emergency nurse at Bristol Hospital and Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut, leaving that work after 13 years.

She is a Sacred Heart University graduate and a board-certified nurse practitioner in family practice and aesthetics. Her medical aesthetics training came through Allergan, Medicis and Merz Pharmaceuticals, and she holds basic and advanced technique certifications from Aesthetic Advancements, Duet and PALLETTE Resources. She completed a dermatology internship with Dr. William Notaro in Danbury and an aesthetic and laser internship with Dr. Jeffrey Lafrance at Lafrance Medical Aesthetics in Bristol. She attends yearly trainings on injecting technique, safety and industry trends. In October 2019 she was chosen for Galderma's New Product Innovation Aesthetic Advisory Board, travelled to Sweden, and trained under Julie Horne in signature lip augmentation.

Her work centres on Dysport, Botox and dermal fillers. She is known for lip augmentation that the business describes as natural looking. She created the Grace Glow Up, a customized full-face treatment combining cheek, jawline, chin and lip filler. She appeared in Glamour Magazine as a RealSelf Top 25 Most Loved Injector, and the business says she was named to that list in a 2017 nationally held competition. The business also states that under her leadership it became one of the highest users of Galderma products in the United States.
