Chance Charles

Chance Charles is the owner of Chance Charles Salon and works as its cutting specialist, with 21 years of experience in the field. He is licensed in California and Texas.

He graduated from Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, California. He began his career as an apprentice with Jacques Dessange in Paris, then worked with celebrity stylist Jose Eber, where he learned Eber's approach to consultation. He later served as creative director for one of Aveda's top salons and worked with designers including Zac Posen, Michael Kors and Proenza Schouler during New York Fashion Week.

Around 2020 he worked in Beverly Hills and Malibu before moving back to Dallas, where his work is based in Plano. He specializes in dry cutting, razor cutting and precision shaping, and in lived-in color, classic Californian blonde, and natural and sun-kissed shades. He describes his looks as elegant, simple and modern.
