Cecilia Rusnak

Cecilia Rusnak serves as founder and medical director of Healing Skin Medical Aesthetics in Kissimmee. She holds a Florida license as an acupuncture physician and a license as a medical esthetician, along with PhD, LME and DAc credentials. She started out in special effects and facial prosthetics for Off-Broadway productions, then worked across aesthetics, paramedical skincare and acupuncture before settling into clinical work that restores the body after surgery or injury. She has 32 years of clinical and aesthetic experience. Her education began with facial and special-effect prosthetics study at the Lia Schorr Institute in New York. She earned an associate degree in paramedical aesthetics from Florida College of Natural Health, then a Bachelor of Professional Health Studies and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from Florida College of Integrative Medicine. She also holds a Doctor of Acupuncture from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego, and completed an internship at Yunnan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Kunming Yuan An Hospital. Her procedures include 3D areola restoration, among them correction of earlier areola tattooing, plus scar camouflage and stretch mark camouflage. Her clients range from breast cancer survivors after mastectomy reconstruction to burn and accident survivors, abdominal surgery patients and people with vitiligo. She regularly works alongside plastic surgeons and cancer foundations. Since 2015 she has served as a VA Community Care provider through AcuMedGroup, where she revises scars from surgical or combat injuries and manages pain for veterans. She founded Dr. Rusnak Academy, AcuMedGroup and Dr. Rusnak Wellness. Her courses include paramedical tattoo certification held in Orlando, New York, Houston and Las Vegas, followed by a 3D Areola Masterclass. She also developed the Powder Botox protocol and leads the Powder Botox Masterclass, where students are coached on live models.
