Cecilia

Cecilia, the founder of Lumina Skin, works there as an esthetician. She worked at Visionary Ophthalmology starting in 2010 and launched her own business that same year while still employed at the practice. She brings 15 years of medical experience and 10 years of performing facial and laser skin treatments across Maryland and Virginia. She trained in esthetics after moving to Maryland and is a certified esthetician. She also holds certification as a yoga instructor and as an instructor in face yoga, gua sha, myofascial massage and intraoral massage, and she is certified in gua sha technique for facial treatments. Her work centers on advanced skincare, facial rejuvenation and overall wellness, favoring natural approaches. Her workshops combine several of these methods in a single session, and she runs programs for busy women of every age who want non-invasive options.
