Cathy Jean

Cathy Jean is the stylist at Blushing Goddess. She began her career in 2009 at Chic Cosmetology in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and trained through an apprenticeship with area stylists while attending school during the day.

Her technique training draws on Redken, Paul Mitchell, Matrix and Schwarzkopf. She watches weekly technique videos from Sam Villa, Nicholas French, Ted Gibson, Jason Beck, Theresa Vandam and Siri Parks, and she intends to attend quarterly classes or hair shows to follow trends.

Her academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Integrative Studies and an Associate's degree in Communication and Administration, both from Ferris State University. She also holds a certificate in Customer Service and Hospitality Management from Florida Atlantic University, and she is fluent in American Sign Language.
