Catherine Michele

Catherine Michele leads One XI Salon as Salon Director and Managing Partner, and she also styles hair, advises on beauty, and consults. In her management role she oversees client experience, salon operations and team development, including setting up salon systems and structure. She has been in the beauty industry since 1992, and across more than three decades she has worked as a stylist, salon operator, advisor and consultant. She has helped build salon brands and has mentored stylists, and she still takes on select clients alongside her management work. Her consulting covers salon concept development, location evaluation, operations and client flow, brand presentation, staff development, and growth or relaunch plans, as well as lease terms, expansion planning and financial decisions. Her consulting clients have included salon owners, independent stylists, beauty entrepreneurs, select investors, new and emerging stylists, established stylists and professionals with 10+ years in the industry. She has also worked in the mortgage industry, and she has been licensed as a real estate agent. Her consulting is built on clear communication and structured guidance. An initial strategy session costs $1,500, and $750 of that is credited toward an engagement if the client continues. Work can be arranged hourly, on a retainer, as monthly advisory, in tiers, or per project. She accepts consulting only for projects outside the local market where the salon operates and outside her active consulting partnerships.
