Cate Werynski

Cate Werynski owns Cate Hair & Makeup and works as its bridal hair and makeup artist. She has been styling brides since 2014, with 13 years of wedding experience inside a beauty career of nearly two decades and about 21,000 hours spent on the craft. After graduating from cosmetology school, she worked on cuts and colors at a salon before leaving salon work.

Her path into weddings started with weekends at a local blow dry bar, where she was on the travel team and styled brides every weekend. She then built a personal website where couples could inquire and began booking weddings independently.

She works with brides and wedding parties every weekend and tends to attract modern romantics who want timeless beauty and a polished look that does not read as overdone. Half up styles are a specialty. She stays after the bride is dressed to add the veil and touch up makeup after first look photos, and she completes 100 hours of continuing education each year.
